The bar is a contemporary venue with the ambience of a private members’ club. Our temperature controlled wine cellar is burgeoning with bottles of Old and New World wines and a fine selection of champagnes, expertly selected by our sommelier. Our cabinets also host a collection of rare cognacs and single malt whiskies which you might like to enjoy with a cigar out on the smoking terrace.
Lighter, modern flavours characterise our fashionable cocktails as we pair fresh exotic flavours with soaring spirits. Fruit daiquiris are our favourite; sweet melons from Voi, passionfruit, mango and ginger all feature in the melée. But we also place an emphasis on classic cocktails with a retro kick - hark back to the days of Hemingway with a Brandy Alexander, Papa Doble, Mint Julep or a refreshing Mojito. Ernest Hemingway loved Mojitos, especially the Cuban version at La Bodeguita, and our cocktail is the most authentic you’ll get.
Our sommelier and his team work closely with the chef to pair food and wine to excite your tastebuds. Our aperitifs will whet your palate; we serve pre-dinner drinks with canapes in the bar. As well as the Chef’s tasting menu, we have also designed a charcuterie and wine menu and a cheeseboard and port menu. Don’t pass up on dessert, we have chosen some excellent sweet dessert wines.
